WRTV Indianapolis

WRTV Indianapolis, Indiana`s oldest television station. The Bitner Group also owns WFBM radio.

During its long history, it has made many technological innovations. It was the first television station in Indiana to use digital news cameras and mini-cams for field reports, the first to broadcast newscasts in color, and the first to implement non-linear editing for news content.

It is also one the top social media performers in the area. Dispatch-owned NBC affiliate WTHR has nearly lapped its local competition with over 10.4 million social actions in the last six months, according to Shareablee data.

WNDU

WNDU is an NBC affiliate that serves the South Bend Elkhart television market. Gray Television has owned the station since November 2005, after it was founded by Notre Dame in 1956.

The station`s studios are located on the campus of the University of Notre Dame along State Road 933 on the north side of South Bend. Its transmitter can be found southeast of the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds, on the city`s southern side.

WNDU is the most watched local news channel in Michiana, covering news, weather and sports for South Bend and Elkhart. It is also the only television station in the market that offers regional sports.

CBS4Indy

CBS4 airs Colts 365 and other Colts content, in addition to news programming. CBS4 also produces Indiana`s largest community outreach program, Pack the Pantries. This program raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for people in need.

Nexstar Media Group purchased the station as part of its $4.1 billion deal to buy Tribune Media. The company is now the parent of both WXIN and WTTV.

Tribune-Star

Terre Haute`s local newspaper is The Tribune-Star. It includes articles on politics, sports and other topics.

The Tribune-Star consists of two sections, the daily section and the weekly section. The weekly section is focused on news and events, while the daily section provides more information about the community.

The Bluffton News-Banner

For over 100 years, the Bluffton News-Banner has been supplying reliable and award-winning news six days a week to its loyal readers and subscribers. The newspaper also publishes The Echo, which goes to non-subscriber homes in Wells County as well as Monroe-Berne-Geneva and Warren, Montpelier and Pennville to the south.
